Your Investment in Wellness
Choosing to start therapy is a significant step toward reconnecting with yourself. In my practice, I prioritize a slow-paced, deeply personable approach that honors your unique transition into parenthood or your journey through anxiety. To maintain this high level of specialized care and presence, I offer both in-network and private-pay options.
My Fees
Initial Clinical Consultation (15 mins): Complimentary
Individual Therapy Session (50 mins): $165
Insurance + Reimbursement
In-Network Coverage
I am currently an in-network provider with the following insurance plans:
Aetna
United Healthcare
Optum Health
Please note: It is the client's responsibility to verify their specific mental health benefits before our first session.
Out-of-Network (Private Pay)
If I am not in-network with your provider, you may still be eligible for significant reimbursement through your PPO plan.
The Superbill: I provide a monthly "Superbill" (a specialized receipt) that you can submit directly to your insurance company for potential out-of-network reimbursement.
The Benefit: Many clients receive 50–80% of the session cost back, depending on their plan.
Why Choose Private Pay?
For many of my clients, paying out-of-network is a choice made for privacy and flexibility.
No Mandatory Diagnosis: Insurance requires a clinical diagnosis to pay for sessions. Private pay allows us to focus on your growth and values without a permanent label in your medical record.
You Set the Pace: We decide how long and how often we meet based on what you need, not what an insurance company dictates.
Specialized Expertise: As a specialist in perinatal mental health and anxiety, I offer a level of focused expertise that is often not available through standard insurance panels.
Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider
To help you understand your out-of-network benefits, call the number on the back of your card and ask:
Do I have "out-of-network" benefits for outpatient mental health?
What is my out-of-network deductible?
What is the reimbursement rate for CPT code 90837?
